Join me for the 30th anniversary of the Unusual Plants Fair at Gilbert White's House in Selborne. It's set to be the biggest and most intriguing yet, so be prepared to be dazzled by a fabulous display of exciting plants and garden-related goodies.
Experts will deliver talks and demonstrations, and be on hand to help visitors discover the most unusual plants. There will be food from the BBQ, tea and cake from the cafe, and a glorious selection of summer beers from the onsite brewery.
Specially for this event, which falls on the Father's Day weekend, entry for children will be free and half price for adults. The ticket price includes admission to the house and gardens.
Admission: £9 adults.
Dogs are welcome on a lead in the grounds and to the right hand side of the café. Dogs are not permitted inside the house unless they are assistance dogs.
Tickets can be booked in advance on the property's website.
